Flowers can teach you a lot, but one thing’s for sure: they make people feel happy! Backed with a degree in Horticulture and Landscape Design from UConn, Julie Harrison, aka ‘Julie The Garden Fairy’ started growing flowers and making floral arrangements for friends and family on her family farm. Her business grew with love quite literally. There are now flowers almost everywhere at Willow View Farm in West Suffield. Customers come to the flower farm for special orders, flower subscriptions, and the very popular pick your own flower field. This specialty flower farm grows everything from specialty Tulips in the spring to premium summer annuals and the season concludes with a few Dahlias - over 6,000! Julie also sells direct to designers and florists who recognize her flowers for quality, freshness and unique varieties. There’s even a flower truck for events and markets.
