Wicked Tulips Flower Farm – Where Happiness Blooms
Featured in our Summer Fun issue last year, Wicked Tulips is again readying for another glorious display on all three of their New England Farms in Preston; Exeter, RI; and Johnston, RI. This year is their biggest U-pick event ever with over 1.6 million tulips planted!
Preston is also their largest farm ever with over 750,000 tulips, representing 100+ unique varieties blooming on 6+ acres, which is projected to open during the last week of April 2024.
Owners Jeroen & Keriann Koeman (parents to 6 year old farm helper Kees Koeman) know it’s important for kids and families to have nature-based experiences. Children & teen tickets (ages 5-17) cost $5 and never sell out. Children under 4 attend free. All adult admission tickets include 10 pick-your-own tulips! Adult admission is $20-23 (varies by day).
Wicked Tulips only allows a limited number of visitors each day, so guests always tiptoe through beautifully blooming fields. Tickets should always be bought online before visiting. The farm is open rain or shine.
Weekend tickets sell out quickly, and weekdays have more availability. Benches and tables are available for meeting friends and having snacks. After 2pm is usually quieter. Once you enter, you can stay until closing at 7p.m.
Wicked Tulips also offers yoga classes in the tulips, mini wellness retreats, a Team Tulip Artisan Market, and other special events.
Each farm is open 7 days/week 10am-7pm while in bloom. This is a dynamic, living event and dates are limited so make sure to book your visit as soon as possible! It’s an event you can’t see anywhere else!
The Preston farm is located at Route 164 in Preston.
